Please bring these materials to class by Wednesday the 20th:
You will need to purchase and/or bring to class on a daily basis the following items:
1– 1.5” Binder with 3 dividers marked ARG’s/Notes, Projects, and Tests/Test Corrections
1– 1.5” Lab Binder with 2 dividers marked Labs, and Appendix
600 Flashcards (100 if you are creating your own www.studyblue.com flashcards)
A set of #2 pencils to be used for ALL labs and calculations
300 sheets of college ruled paper (100 for lab notebook, 200 for course notebook)
50 pages of quad ruled graph paper for lab notebook
1 Flash Drive (at least 2GB) for copying presentations and data

AP Environmental Science Spring Break Assignments:
Please complete the following and have due upon return on 4-14-15:
1. Complete Coal Burning/Wet Scrubber Lab write ups - informal write up including data, conclusions and graphs.
2. Complete Flow Charts for procedures for Population Growth/Eutrophication Lab (see below link...download lab but printed copies will be available upon return to school)
3. Complete Supplemental Reading and take detailed notes on 06 Environmental Science Special Focus (see below link) - This will help you understand climate change and ozone.
4. Complete 2011(# 2,3 & 4) and 2012 (#1) AP practice questions taking 120 minutes to write and an initial 10 minutes to organize thoughts/outlines. This gives you 22.5 minutes for each question.
5. Use the scoring guidelines to score out your 4 questions and report scores and turn in essays upon return)
6. We will be attending 3 field trips the week we return and you will need to download two permission slips for 4/15 and 4/16 (see below) when we will be going out to Whiskeytown/Tower House to work with Shasta County Vector Control to monitor Tick populations (4/15) and the NPS to do carbon sequestration monitoring on the orchard at Tower House (4/16). We also will be making a trip to the SPI Water Quality Lab on the 17th...and will have 3 remaining field trips at Whiskeytown in May, including one for the final on the 26th.
